We are currently looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join our EPC team, part of our North America M Renewables Division. This position reports to the Head of EPC and is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In this exciting opportunity, you will play a vital role in ensuring succesful completion of renewables projects through direct management of on-site construction operations including interacting with project stakeholders and contractors.
Your role will encompass:
- Oversee project construction for progress, quality, and quantity
- Collaborate with the EPC Contractor and site quality and safety team
- Interface with project stakeholders such as municipality, utility, right-of-way owners, landowners
- Provide regular updates on project planning and report on project progress
- Manage owner supplies equipment delivery and handling on-site
What you bring to the role:
- Minimum 5+ Years of experience in construction management and 2+ years of experience in solar/renewables construction projects.
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field would be an asset
- PMP or Construction Designations would be an asset
- Solution-oriented and hands-on approach
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with high attention to detail
