We are looking for a skilled Site Superintendent to join our dynamic team of professionals. This is a full time position with the flexibility to work some weekends and travel if required. Must be willing to travel throughout the Southern Interior of British Columbia based on project location. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in commercial construction, preferably in a Site Superintendent capacity and have own transportation and a valid driver’s license. You will need to have extensive experience in base building and large scale commercial renovations. The successful individual will also need to pass criminal record check.

The primary responsibilities of this role are as follows:


  • All on-site construction activities and coordination on a daily basis
  • Interface with clients, architects, designers, and other consultants to manage project issues and maintain positive working relationship
  • Take the lead on productivity issues and monitor work performance and efficiency of employees and subcontractors
  • Contribute to the development of a construction plan and manage subcontractor activities
  • Project construction scheduling and assume responsibility of the commissioning of project systems
  • Ensure the implementation of Safety Programs to create safe work environment throughout the job site and adhere to the safety and record keeping requirements
  • Document and report all injuries, fill out Notice of Injury/Accident reports
  • Work within the projects budget, direct and monitor self-performed work
  • Advise senior management of potential problems, work interference or schedule difficulties while assisting in circumventing/resolving such conflicts
  • Ensure the implementation of Safety Programs to create a safe work environment throughout the job site and adhere to the safety and record keeping requirements

Work with trades, schedules, site instructions, and RFI’s
