Are you a versatile creative with a passion for storytelling and a love of cats? tuft paw is seeking a dynamic Content Lead to join our team and support our content strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape our brand’s voice and visual identity across multiple channels. You’ll report directly to the Director of Brand Marketing and collaborate closely with other key stakeholders to create compelling content that resonates with cat parents everywhere.

In this pivotal role, you’ll drive our content creation efforts, ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines while contributing fresh, innovative ideas. Your work will significantly impact how our brand is perceived and will play a crucial part in our marketing strategies. Responsibilities: Video Editing: Edit videos for performance marketing campaigns and assist with editing organic social media content. Outsource video editing as needed, sourcing and managing reliable contractors. Ensure videos are optimized for viral potential, staying updated on trends and techniques that drive high engagement.

Copywriting: Write engaging copy for brand channels, including but not limited to email newsletters, performance marketing, website, social media, and more. Prepare scripts for YouTube (short and long-form videos) and ads. Write content for activation signage, packaging, and partnership requests.

Copyedit blog articles as needed from external contractors to match brand tone. Content Creation: Assist with photo and video shoot production. Develop processes for a consistent content pipeline, working with channel owners to ensure a steady flow of new content, both from internal shoots and external content creators.

Content Organization: Organize and manage content assets, ensuring all files are properly named, uploaded to Google Drive, and easily accessible. Maintain a clean and organized content library. Creative Briefing: Assist in preparing creative briefs for internal and external collaborators.

Translate requests from channel owners into actionable briefs for graphic designers and contractors. Provide creative direction and assist with executing content projects to ensure brand consistency and quality. Project Coordination: Manage multiple content projects concurrently, balancing deadlines and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Collaboration: Work independently and as part of a team to coordinate content efforts with the marketing department and other stakeholders. Brand Consistency: Ensure all content maintains a consistent tone, look, and feel while exploring new yet familiar ways to push the brand’s guidelines. Create content that resonates with cat parents.

Requirements: 3 years of professional experience in digital content creation or a related field. Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of content projects across different channels Demonstrated ability to create and edit viral content for social media. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).

Experience in e-commerce or CPG preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinker with the ability to generate engaging content ideas for cat parents.
