Content Marketing Manager
Our client is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to lead content strategy and support thought leadership, product marketing, and sales enablement.
The ideal candidate excels at creating impactful content for niche audiences across channels like email, web, ads, and social media, with a strategic, collaborative, and storytelling-driven approach.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
Lead development of content themes, personas, buyer journey mapping, and distribution strategyEstablish and promote best practices for documentation and content productionCreate and manage a content audit, review process, and editorial calendarOversee all stages of content development—from ideation to deliveryGenerate and evaluate content ideas and recommendationsWrite high-quality, audience-specific content across multiple formats and channelsTranslate technical concepts into accessible, business-friendly messagingFoster brand-customer connection through compelling storytellingCollaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and external partnersSupport sales enablement with proposals, presentations, and follow-up materialsTrack KPIs to assess content effectiveness and suggest improvementsMonitor industry trends and propose timely, relevant content updatesResearch and apply innovative content marketing strategiesMaintain and enforce brand voice, tone, and style consistencyManage relationships with external agencies and freelance contributorsPerform additional tasks and contribute to special projects as needed Your strengths include:
5+ years of proven experience performing a similar function in enterprise B2B SaaS content marketing or communicationsExperience working in a similar role in a highly regulated complex industry such as financial services, life sciences, medical devices, security and defence, or energyA post-secondary education in Communications, Journalism, English, Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing or a related fieldExceptional English language verbal and written communication skills and equally impressive project management skillsExceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills, with strong attention to detailAbility to create content in a fast-paced environment to respond to changes in the marketExperience generating a high volume of content while managing tight deadlinesExperience working closely with Sales teams to respond to requests for proposals and for sales enablement supportA problem solver who brings fresh, original thinking to company and customer problemsAbility to write for a variety of channels, leveraging key messaging, and determining style and tone to speak to different audiences including customers, partners, media, investors, and employeesAdvanced knowledge of digital content writing best practices (web, social, email, etc.) and search engine optimization (SEO)A high degree of emotional intelligence, with the ability to be an effective team-player in a cross-functional environmentExperience across marketing functions with a solid understanding of how they work together to drive revenue generation and nurturingAbility to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, ambiguous work environmentAbility to work remotely while still driving results across the business and teams
