As part of the expansion plans in Canada, we are looking for an experienced, energetic, passion-for-construction and retail, a Coordinator, Maintenance & Construction to join our Construction & Maintenance Department overseeing all of our retail stores in the GTA.

Heres some of what youll do:

Maintenance Project Coordinator Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and dispatch maintenance tickets for all stores through the ticketing system.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely completion of maintenance requests.
  • Track, update, and close tickets while keeping stores informed of progress and timelines.
  • Support store openings and renovations by coordinating maintenance setup and vendor services.
  • Maintain accurate records of service requests, quotes, invoices, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Review and process vendor proposals, change requests, and purchase orders.
  • Monitor maintenance budgets and assist with cost tracking and reporting.
  • Communicate with internal teams and stores to ensure smooth issue resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Assist the Construction Director with administrative tasks such as filing documents, organizing project folders, and drafting basic correspondence or follow-up emails.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support facilities and maintenance operations.


Communication

  • Assist in the resolution of design issues, change requests, material defects and equipment problems
  • Establish effective on-site communications and progress reporting with subtrades and GCs
  • Prepare and maintain required records and written reports
  • Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration within and across teams

Heres what were looking for:

  • Experience in the construction and maintenance, preferably in retail
  • Excellent coordinator and organization skills
  • Ability to work in time-sensitive and high-pressure environment while maintaining a high level of quality
    • Knowledge of local, provincial and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation
  • Understanding of the requirements and process for construction competition certificates
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to interpret and implement company policies and procedures
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe or Bluebeam Revu
  • Flexible able to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Frequent travel to local sites and off-sites locations my be required


Pay range: $50,000 - 60,000/annually
