About the position Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Accounts, the Corporate Account Manager will be responsible for all corporate accounts assigned in a geographic area. The successful incumbent will grow profitability with Univar Solutions’ market share at existing corporate accounts using a consultative selling process.
Must be able to identify and capture new business opportunities at existing accounts and at prospective new corporate and multi-facility accounts. If you are looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced company this is the job for you What you’ll do Enhance Univar Solutions’ position within each corporate account using consultative, value selling at all levels within the account Secure business through alliances, preferred supply agreements, and contracts. Create and execute on short, medium and long-term customer growth strategies Selling value-added services where possible, receiving proper compensations for those services, and eliminating those activities the customer is unwilling to pay for Identify and evaluate new business opportunities including international chemical distribution and waste management Set pricing and service levels, as well as maintain and coordinate customer quotations Coordinate at all levels within Univar including senior leadership, local sales, purchasing, legal department and operations to ensure overall customer satisfaction What we would like from you Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field (chemistry, sales etc) Broad knowledge and experience with the chemical distribution business Minimum 5 years field sales experience Previous experience handling large corporate accounts Management experience a plus It takes people like you and a global network of more than 10,000 employees to build a company where the best people want to work.
