Position Overview: Express Employment is seeking a Customer Service Representative II to join our client’s team in Red Deer, Alberta.

This role is pivotal in ensuring superior customer experiences through effective order management, inventory control, and proactive communication. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, possess strong organizational skills, and excel in problem-solving and multitasking. Responsibilities: Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, prepare quotations, and enter orders into ERP (Business Central).

Manage order processing, ensuring products are purchased and stocked to meet customer demands. Source and procure non-stock items as necessary to fulfill customer requirements. Coordinate production orders to support shop floor operations and meet customer delivery schedules.

Monitor inventory levels, anticipate demand, and maintain optimal stock levels. Facilitate clear communication among team members and with the Plant to ensure seamless operations. Generate reports to support operational activities and provide updates to the team on progress.

Track order status and proactively communicate updates to internal teams and customers. Actively participate in and promote the company’s Health, Safety, and Environment program. Skills and Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in customer service within an industrial setting is preferred. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Business Central, for order and inventory management. Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining efficiency and accuracy. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Knowledge of Planning and Inventory Management principles or certification is an asset.
