Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for technology, achieving targets and providing excellent customer satisfaction? If so, join our Technical Sales team as our next Customer Solutions Architect (CSA). In this role, you will connect our customers with industry-leading technology solutions, creating opportunities and solving business challenges in the Commercial Mid-Market segment. This role will be based out of Edmonton, Alberta.

We offer a flexible workstyle, with a work-from-home option and customer visits, allowing you to balance your work and personal life. As a CSA, you will play a crucial role in pre-sales architecture and creating comprehensive technology roadmaps. By providing thought leadership and leveraging TELUS’ wide range of technology solutions, you will enable our customers to prioritize their initiatives and achieve the best possible outcomes.



Collaborating closely with our Sales department, you will develop and cultivate relationships at all levels within our customers’ organizations and articulate complex ideas and concepts. As a trusted advisor, you will boost customer satisfaction by presenting a holistic view of how technology can integrate and enable our customers’ strategic initiatives. Your honed Business Acumen and critical thinking skills will be key in driving success for both our customers and our company.

  • Be an advocate for the customer by leveraging the appropriate resources within TELUS and our partners.
  • Highly organized: you can handle ambiguous ideas and help drive the team to a concrete plan.
  • Develop digital transformation roadmaps based on our customers’ unique technical environments.
  • Regular touch base sessions with internal stakeholders to remain current on TELUS’ technology offerings.
  • Staying on the leading edge of technology and challenging the status quo.


What you bring

  • Customer Focus attitude overcoming obstacles and challenges with resilience and determination.
  • Understand the IT/Telecommunications competitive landscape across Canada.
  • 3+ years of experience in leading the architecture of solutions across multiple technologies.
  • Experience leading and facilitating workshops, whiteboard discussions, technology roadmaps, and consulting conversations with customers.
  • Proven track record in effectively working and leveraging cross-functional resources in an organization to lead an initiative or technical solution.
  • Technical understanding across multiple-solution portfolios such as Telecommunications, Mobility, Unified Communications, Security, Cloud, and IT Hosting Solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills; be seen as a peer and advisor to executive-level clients leading them to embrace TELUS solutions as strategic to their business.
  • Ability to discuss customer solution benefits from both a technical and financial perspective.
  • Sales training/account planning – strong asset.
  • Passionate about continuous learning and personal development.
