The Opportunity

As an IGA consultant, you will lead IGA advisory and implementation projects, assisting clients with assessment, technical design, and deployment of Identity and Access Management solutions. You should have experience in driving IAM strategies, managing technology changes, and delivering projects in cloud and on-premises environments. Familiarity with risk frameworks, compliance, and audit controls for cloud and on-prem resources is essential. Experience with IAM platforms like SailPoint, Saviynt, and Microsoft Entra ID Governance is preferred.



Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform IGA assessments, architecture design, and development.
  • Provide subject matter expertise across IGA topics related to cloud and on-premises enterprise technology.
  • Participate in enterprise governance processes and promote IAM standards adoption.
  • Develop scalable and reliable architecture solutions aligned with strategic goals.
  • Maintain and align security policies with industry best practices and business needs, especially regarding cloud adoption.
  • Manage technical delivery of IGA projects, collaborating with stakeholders and project teams.
  • Review and develop IGA technical roadmaps.
  • Deliver expertise in security configuration and architecture for IGA implementations.
  • Develop solutions addressing issues from processes, threats, and technological changes.
  • Implement tailored use cases and governance frameworks.
  • Set up IGA policies, ensure audit compliance, and support governance frameworks.
  • Provide technical problem-solving support.
  • Conduct client training on IGA best practices and tools.
  • Monitor and analyze identity governance metrics for improvement opportunities.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless system integration.
  • Contribute to business development through proposals and presentations.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • 3-5 years of experience with IGA platforms like SailPoint, Saviynt, and Microsoft Entra ID Governance.
  • Experience in end-to-end IGA implementation projects.
  • Proficiency in onboarding, compliance, and provisioning requirements.
  • Hands-on with Lifecycle management, Application On-Boarding, Access Requests, Automated Provisioning, Password Management, RBAC, and Risk Models.
  • Understanding of access administration, enforcement, and governance best practices.
  • Experience integrating with authoritative sources and target systems.
  • Knowledge of setting up SoD and recertification processes.
  • Development skills in JAVA, Webservices, SQL, etc.
  • Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
  • Knowledge of industry standards like NIST and DIACCC.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience across all phases of IAM solution implementation.
  • Proven ability to optimize existing IGA solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Canadian Federal Security clearance is a plus.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or architecture frameworks like TOGAF or SABSA are advantageous.
