Cybersecurity Project Manager

PrecisionIT is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager for a 12 month contract opportunity with our client in Vancouver, BC.

Qualifications: – 6 years of full-cycle technology Project Management experience, from developing a conceptual idea to requirements gathering to system design, system build, system test, training, and cutover. – 5 years of experience managing IT Infrastructure projects is highly desirable. – 3 years managing Cybersecurity-related projects is highly desirable. – Experience managing projects in one or more of these areas is an asset: SOC implementation, Cybersecurity policies development, NIST CSF assessment and remediation, DR & BCP, M365 Implementation. – Experience with public sector and Capital projects. – Experience working with law enforcement authorities. – Extensive and proven experience managing stakeholders and an ability “to bring people together”. – Must have excellent people skills, and excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. – Must display a sense of “urgency to get the job done”. – Experience or understanding of organizational change (OCM) in projects. – Experience in managing multiple suppliers. – Experience managing complex contracts. – Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is a plus but not a mandatory requirement. – Experience in the management of large budgets, including status reporting and forecasting. – Training and experience in best practice Project Management techniques and processes. – Experience working with, communicating to, and making formal presentations and recommendations to senior management within a large organization. – Experience developing and implementing technology projects and business process initiatives designed to improve efficiencies. – Experience gathering and analyzing functional and technical requirements and information from key business areas. – Experience leading an interdisciplinary team of technical and business resources effectively. – Experience with the standard MS Office tools -including Microsoft Project-, and SharePoint.
