Data Analyst

This is a hybrid position in Vancouver. Candidates must be in British Columbia to be considered for this role. This is a new role with a large healthcare organization in Vancouver.

You will be joining a stable and tenured team and will support financial planning, applications and analyses. You will be working with internal financial data, and previous experience with this is required. About 70% of your role will be analytical, and 30% will involve working with SQL and writing SQL queries.

What you will do and how you will make an impact … [-] You will use SQL for data cleansing and exploration, and prepare the data for analysis. [-] You will deep dive into this organization’s financial information and reports. [-] You will conduct statistical analysis. You will look at cost patterns and variances, and identify trends. [-] You will present your insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders, and ensure that business needs are met. [-] You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and identify additional areas of opportunity. You will ensure that internal systems and operations are optimized. [-] You will write SQL queries and create custom reports, as needed. [-] You will support any system changes and develop documentation, and training materials.
