  • CockroachDB installation, administration, and support- create design documentation and runbooks, and advise/coach other technical team members
  • highly available, cross-region database design, architecture, and implementation, including high-performance storage expertise
  • cross-site data replication (RAFT), backup/restore, and disaster recovery
  • performance and failover testing, data consistency/validation
  • database performance monitoring and tuning- data security and access control
  • Minimum 3 years experience in hands-on consulting delivery and support in a client-facing environment, with emphasis on SME-level administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Enhanced Reliability security clearance (Canada Level 1)
