Unique outreach position available for people passionate about harm reduction, substance use and mental health.Neighbourly Pharmacy is welcoming applications for a positive and enthusiastic Delivery Driver to add to the team in Gorge Victoria, BC.About the Job:Working for Forbes pharmacy delivering/witnessing opioid agonist therapies (methadone/kadian) and other regular medications to ensure patient compliance. Typically, patients/clients live at various community and temporary housing sites and shelters. The pharmacy needs coverage Monday-Sunday from approx. 0830-1530 (start times are variable). As an outreach worker, you will work with a team of pharmacists, other outreach workers, nurses, and student nurses.
The work is rewarding for anyone interested in pursuing a career in outreach work or encampment nursing. The remuneration is comparable to other outreach positions & travelling mileage is reimbursable. Training will be provided. A reliable vehicle and class 5 license is a must.
