Monday to Friday – 7 hours/day

Bigstone Health Commission in Edmonton, AB is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and dependable Dental Benefits Adjudicator to join our talented Health Team. Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess and adjudicate dental benefit requests
Act as an advocate for all BCN clients of the health benefits program
Work with the clients and service providers in a pleasant and efficient manner
Provide program information, advice and assistance to clients and service providers
Maintain provider files
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have excellent interpersonal skills including telephone etiquette
Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions
Be extremely observant to detail and accuracy
Must be reliable
Proficient computer skills
Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs
Education and Experience:
Certificate, diploma, and/or degree and/or equivalent training and experience combined
Minimum 2 years work experience in an office setting
Minimum 2 years work experience in a dental setting
Knowledgeable on the Non-Insured Health Benefits programs is an asset
Standard First Aid with CPR
