McCann Canada is seeking a Digital Coordinator to join our Digital Solutions team. This role will assist in organizing, executing, and monitoring digital tactics across various platforms including social media, web, and email. This position is ideal for a digital-savvy, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to grow their skillset and expand their experience.
The Digital Coordinator will work directly with various team members including community managers, analysts, and account managers. This role will provide multi-disciplinary support across a broad array of digital activities including organizing social media content, gathering project deliverables, and interfacing with client partners. The right person for the role is a self-starter with a proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
What you will do…
- Project Coordination: You will be responsible for assisting the team in organizing project deliverables such as social media content, email copy documents, QR codes, and more.
- Social Media Management: Work with the community management team to organize and schedule content to a variety of social media platforms.
- Social Media Monitoring: You will help to monitor social media posts for engagement and commentary while attempting to identify relevant trends and sentiments.
- Analytics Gathering: You will assist the team with compiling the necessary data and insights for channel performance reporting.
- Performance Measurement: You will work with a variety of agency stakeholders to produce QR codes, UTM codes, and short links to measure the effectiveness of project tactics.
- Client Management: You will work with the business leadership team to gather requirements from clients, send deliverables, and receive client feedback.
- Financial Management: You will help produce estimates, monitor budgets, and guide forecasts with oversight from the business leadership and project management team.
- Meeting Management: schedule, coordinate, and prepare materials for client meetings, presentations, and status updates. Take notes and track action items to ensure all follow-ups are completed.
Who you will be…
- Strong communication and writing skills for content creation.
- High attention to detail with an ability to spot errors or omissions.
- Proven ability to manage both internal and external deadlines while maintaining the highest quality deliverables.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of the evolving digital marketing landscape.
- Ideally, 1-2 years of experience in account management, social media coordination, or digital advertising role.
