Digital Fundraising Strategist

Generosity X

Digital Fundraising Strategist Company Overview Generosity X partners with charities to increase their annual giving revenue through optimization and innovation. We are laser-focused on growing annual fundraising programs and have a track record to prove it. We help charities fuel their growth by acquiring new donors, retaining existing donors, and unlocking new sources of generosity.

We believe within the depth of our souls that fundraising is meant to be jubilant, exciting and rewarding. Our Approach & Values Authenticity All relationships are built on trust and being authentic allows for trust to grow. If something isn’t going well – let’s talk about it rather than avoid it.

Hustle A fast-paced environment is important because it means we are excited about what we are working on and are eager to see the end result. Be Generous Having an abundance mentality means we can be generous with others and ourselves in order to make for the greatest possible outcome. Ownership We think like owners – your work is our work.

Being entrepreneurial is also willing to roll up the sleeves, do the dirty work and acknowledge what we each bring to the table. About the Role You You are a digital savant. While you understand fundraising principles, your real strength lies in tackling fundraising challenges with digital solutions.

You might not be a web developer, but a CMS is your ally. You manage a portfolio of clients who need advanced digital strategies to grow their online revenue. This involves a mix of email fundraising, digital advertising, and website strategy.

You help clients create hyper-personalized content that delights donors by developing targeted ad campaigns, personalized web content, and email automation. What excites you most is the unknown. You embrace the challenge of discovering what works by running tests and experiments and expanding your knowledge in ways that benefit your clients and charities across North America.

What You’ll Actually Do: Strategy Management: Oversee the marketing campaigns and fundraising projects for clients, focusing primarily on email marketing, email automation, digital advertising, web strategy, and conversion rate optimization (CRO). A/B Testing: Develop hypotheses for A/B tests across various digital marketing channels for clients. Client Management: Handle weekly client deliverables, priorities, activities, and results.

Project Briefs and Campaign Plans: Translate the client’s annual strategy (developed by GX’s Lead Strategist) into project briefs and campaign plans to guide annual fundraising campaigns and programs. Client Meetings: Lead bi-weekly meetings with clients to keep projects on track, gather feedback, and manage conflicts when necessary. Data-Driven Strategy: Collaborate with GX’s Lead Strategist to interpret data insights and drive strategies for client online revenue growth.

Co-lead reporting meetings to discuss and guide ongoing campaigns, maintaining a close watch on fundraising results. Production Services Coordination: Work with the production services team to ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and in line with the proposed strategy. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate client relationships and add unique value, ensuring the organizations that trust us also experience generosity.

Teach First™ Approach: Adopt a Teach First™ attitude, empowering clients to take control of their own fundraising success before taking action. You’ll love this role because: Company values matter greatly to you, and for us, they are the most important factor in hiring and firing. You value authenticity and believe that being genuine builds trust with clients and team members.

By being your authentic self, you will build trust within the team over the long run. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where everyone is eager to meet goals and accomplish more with the resources available. You are encouraged to be generous with others and understand that an abundance mentality means bringing the best of what you have and giving it fully to others, rather than doing work for free.

You have a passion for helping charities across Canada and the US achieve wild success. You aim to significantly grow the force of generosity on this planet rather than settling for small, incremental change. You are technically intrapreneurial and want to be part of something that is growing and thriving.

You will live close to your colleagues as we prioritize hires in BC and Alberta. Residents in other provinces, territories, or countries will not be considered. You’ll absolutely love this company because: We offer you a competitive salary of $65,000-$75,000 per year along with performance-based bonuses.

You’ll enjoy two weeks of paid vacation time and some extra time off from December 25th to December 31st (don’t worry clients, I’ll still be working – Matt). We offer a Health Spending Account and Wellness Spending Account so you can cover the cost of your healthcare needs or use some money for other wellness desires (like buying a surfboard or registering for tango lessons). From May 1st until the August long weekend, we have Fridays off.

We work hard many months of the year so in the summer, we enjoy a few extra days by the beach. We obsess over growth which means we MUST be consistently learning as a collective body. Each year we’ll take a free trip to attend a conference as a team.

Once a quarter, we all meet in person to retreat to grow, learn, and collaborate in ways that are best done together in real life. We care about culture a LOT so if someone isn’t going to work out, we won’t drag it on. We strongly believe that if it is not a hell yeah, it’s a no.

That means successful people thrive here because nobody slows down the pace of our collective success. Please Apply If: You live in Alberta or British Columbia and plan your work schedule based on MDT hours. You have 3 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years of fundraising or digital marketing experience.

Agency experience is a massive plus. You are available to start this fall (ideally, as soon as possible). You are willing to travel when required.

Approximately 10% of your role/time. You love what you’re reading here. To Apply: To apply, please email your resume and, if you wish, your cover letter (optional) to hellogenerosityx.com .
