Opportunity: Director, Asset Management Location: Vancouver, British Columbia Reporting to: Senior Vice President, Asset Management Company Overview: Join our client, a prominent real estate private equity fund based in Vancouver, specializing in multi-family housing with a stellar track record. Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement asset management strategies for our 3,000-unit multi-family portfolio, aligning with business objectives.

Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, identifying cost-saving and revenue enhancement opportunities. Risk Management: Assess and manage risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Develop risk mitigation strategies. Performance Optimization: Oversee property-level operations, implementing best practices for efficiency and resident satisfaction.

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, investors, and external partners. Provide regular updates on asset performance and market trends. Compliance and Legal Oversight: Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, collaborating with legal counsel as needed. Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative work environment focused on achieving collective goals.

Ideal Candidate Profile: Minimum 7 years of progressive asset management experience in multi-family housing or a similar sector. Strong understanding of the legal landscape and real estate regulations. Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing multi-family housing assets. Exceptional financial acumen, analytical skills, and an entrepreneurial approach.

Ability to travel quarterly. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities. History of developing and maintaining partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Expert user of Microsoft Excel; experience with property management platforms such as Yardi is preferred.
