Sanctuary AI, a world leader in building AI-based control systems for humanoid robots, is looking to hire a Director, Government Relations to manage all government-related sales, grants, and legislative activities relevant to our organization. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this individual will play a pivotal role in navigating the complexities of government and defense sectors, driving sales, and fostering strategic relationships.
The Director of Government Relations will lead the development and execution of government sales strategies, build and maintain relationships with key government officials, navigate regulatory landscapes, and ensure compliance with government policies. Securing government contracts and funding opportunities will play a key role in the overall success and expansion of Sanctuary AI’s presence around the world.

- Prospect eligible programs, draft grant applications, and manage existing grant awards

Your Experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in political science, business, or related field and/or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years’ experience in government relations or defense sales
- Existing network of government and defense industry contacts in Ottawa, Canada and/or Washington, D.C., USA
- Strong understanding of regulatory landscapes and compliance requirements
- Proven track record of securing government contracts and funding
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
