Overview
Director of Business Development – Building Materials | Niagara Region, ON - Kwik Mix, a Canadian leader in packaged concrete products, is hiring a business development director to lead the sales function. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to help scale a strong, family-owned manufacturing business with decades of operational success and untapped commercial potential.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the full sales function, with two direct reports
- Sales are within a 200 mile radius around the Niagara Region
- Develop and execute a growth strategy across contractor yards, commercial/industrial customers, and regional distributors / retailers.
- Build a repeatable sales process and introduce CRM, pipeline tracking, and margin discipline
- Identify and open new accounts while expanding share of wallet with existing customers
- Partner with ownership and operations to align sales growth with production capabilities
- Raise the bar for the entire company with your energy and passion for the product
What We’re Looking For
- 8–20+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in building materials, construction products, or adjacent trades
- Proven success in business development, channel expansion, and team leadership
- Strong understanding of unit economics and pricing discipline
- Comfortable with on-site presence at our Niagara Region manufacturing facility
- Leadership style rooted in practicality, humility, and accountability
