Job Description

Partner Staffing is currently working with our client to find a highly motivated Director of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, providing strategic financial guidance to senior management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the companys growth objectives.
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Provide strategic financial advice and guidance to senior management to support decision-making.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments affecting the companys financial performance.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies and plans that align with business objectives.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing financial processes, systems, and controls.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements
