Director, VSM Cloud Infrastructure

Our Value Stream Management (VSM) platform has enabled our customers to dramatically reduce their time to market and increase the velocity of software development. We’re seeking a Director, VSM Cloud Infrastructure to join our team in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will be defining our cloud infrastructure strategy, collaborating with engineer leads, product managers and stakeholder and leading our team of DevSecOps and Cloud Ops engineers, Responsibilities • Responsible for driving and delivering strategic initiatives • Responsible for people management including mentoring, coaching team member with career direction and growth and driving a positive team culture • Create and collaborate on tools that allow us to analyze software development approaches using innovative data driven decision making.

• Designing effective solutions in regards to technical areas and challenges • Designing a strategy, road-map and execution plan to achieve strategic objectives Qualifications • 7 years of experience leading Agile teams and help them evolve their approach and process to enable amazing results. • Understanding of microservices and distributed application architecture • Hands-on experience with architecting and automated provisioning (IaC), • Hands-on experience with envisioning, designing, building and managing release systems, code merging and promotion, and CI/CD workflows and tools. Tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Gerrit, ArgoCD, backstage. io, Flux • Experience with monitoring and log aggregating frameworks such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Splunk, Opentracing, AWS X-Ray, and APM tools • Experience with more advanced DevOps practices, such as Observability, Fault Injection, DevSecOps, Blue/Green Deployments, etc.

• Experience building enterprise security strategy for cloud adoption or driving the programs evolution to meet new requirements. • Managing On-Call and incident management processes • Significant experience with both on-premise and cloud-based solutions because we deploy both. What gives you an edge: • Experience working with AWS services and environments. • Experience with Federal customers, security and compliance standards such as SOC2, FIPS, HIPPA, GDPR • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
