Dispatch & Transportation Coordination

  • Dispatch and coordinate bookings for clients and carriers for pickups and deliveries
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively address delays or issues
  • Communicate load details, schedules, and requirements clearly to drivers and carriers
  • Track loads using TMS, spreadsheets, or internal systems

Customer Service

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding shipments, scheduling, and general inquiries
  • Provide timely updates and resolve customer concerns professionally
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication and reliability

Warehousing Support

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound warehouse shipments
  • Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and shipping
  • Assist with inventory-related questions and documentation

Administrative & Operational Tasks

  • Enter and maintain accurate shipment, customer, and carrier data
  • Prepare and review dispatch paperwork, BOLs, and delivery confirmations
  • Support billing and documentation processes as needed
  • Follow company procedures and help improve operational efficiency

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or customer service preferred
  • Strong communication skills (phone, email, and text)
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, and logistics software (TMS/WMS a plus)
  • Attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
