The District Manager, PC Financial position will manage the representatives that operate our physical locations (Pavilions) within Loblaw stores across Canada.
The role is responsible for achieving sales and profitability targets, driving operational excellence, ensuring all operational processes are successfully executed, and developing representatives through recruiting, training, coaching and hands on leadership at the store level. Additionally, the District Manager, PC Financial is required to ensure the execution of the sales programs of the company and fulfill the district’s sales, operations, and team development objectives. The position requires the incumbent to travel extensively throughout their assigned district to conduct regular store visits. What You’ll Do: Responsible for overall sales strategy for district and ensuring locations within your district are consistently delivering a high quality experience in every customer interaction.
You are expected to ensure that services delivered in store are consistent with the PC Financial brand, and results in very high levels of customer satisfaction Obtain monthly objectives for stores within district and lead teams to meet sales and profit targets Align district with annual company and sales objectives by driving the company’s mission, vision, and values Lead, coach and motivate your management team and colleagues to achieve success and foster colleague growth Recruit, train, and create succession planning for top talent within district ensuring optimal talent in stores at all times Regularly meet with store and district manager counterparts at Loblaws, and create strong working relationships with those teams Support PC Financial counterparts in providing feedback and content ideation as it relates to training, compliance, and sales etc. Foster a positive working relationship between The Pavilion staff and the Loblaw store employees; identifying new opportunities to work better together and drive productivity and performance Ensure operational objectives for district are met as per company standards Oversee that district compliance requirements are met, proactively identifying areas for improvement in processes and systems Address customer issues when required, ensuring that all customer escalations are resolved in a timely manner with positive outcomes. Consolidate district challenges and other nuances, share with peers, and escalate to appropriate parties for resolutions. Provide input to the Regional Head of Sales on business strategy, budget, product assortment and other matters.
Host weekly team calls and attend other calls as scheduled Liaise with Home Office on other duties as assigned by Senior Leadership What You’ll Need: University Degree/College Diploma in Business or Finance or equivalent experience Minimum 3 -5 years of leadership and management experience Preferred knowledge of banking sales and services Retail experience is preferred Available to team on evenings and weekends (when required by the Business) Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities in a vigorous sales environment Strong creative, problem solving and analytical skills Exceptional leadership and team development skills Demonstrated ability to produce desired results by motivating and building an engaged team Extensive travel required throughout the district; valid driver’s license required Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day Come and join a winning team who demonstrates innovation, energy, creativity and vision.
