Electrical Journeyman – Red Seal – Edmonton We are seeking to hire a full-time experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our fast-growing team Company: The Gentleman Pros – Electrical Division Locations: Calgary, Red Deer, Edmonton & surrounding areas About Us: The Gentleman Pros team has over 22 years of experience servicing the residential & commercial markets for the Calgary, Red Deer, and Edmonton regions. The Gentleman Pros team provides a vast variety of services for all types of slow drains or blockages, SCAN/drain snake camera inspections to locate blockages, water line repairs, leak investigations, plumbing fixtures repairs, and installation. Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of residential and emergency electrical work including installations, repairs, and maintenance of systems.

The selected candidate(s) will be provided with a company service vehicle to use for daily service work and will be responsible for completing assigned tasks with attention to detail and accuracy. The applicant must live within a reasonable distance from the designated region/area or plan to independently re-locate prior to commencing work. Requirements: Residential experience required.

Ambitious, detail-oriented, friendly, willing to learn/adapt, and works well in a team environment. Minimum of 3-5 years experience required – light commercial experience considered an asset. Additional licenses/certifications – considered an asset.

Full Drivers License – Must provide a clear driver abstract. Background check required. Personal hand tools required.

Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Preferred Skills: Working outside in rainy weather, climbing ladders, working on sloped roofs. Carrying heavy loads (Up to 60lbs/27Kg).

Applying fundamental electrical circuit knowledge (series vs. parallel, voltage vs. current, batteries, and resistance). Having a good understanding of the Canadian Electric Code. Providing hand tools and cordless drill.

Diagnose electrical issues and develop effective solutions. Perform inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients.
