If you're looking to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with a team of experts, and grow your technical skills in a dynamic environment — we want to hear from you.<br /> </p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations</li><li>Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment and components in various settings</li><li>Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus or components to locate the cause of the breakdown and repair the problem</li><li>Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures using testing devices</li><li>Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment and repair</li><li>Repair or replace wiring, equipment or fixtures</li><li>Assemble, install, test or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliance, apparatus, or fixtures</li><li>Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components</li><li>Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>309A journeyman electrician</li><li>5 years of relevant experience as an electrician in Industrial or Construction setting</li><li>Strong troubleshooting abilities; service experience is an asset</li><li>Strong mechanical and electrical background</li><li>Ability to use various testing devices including ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, ammeters</li><li>Ability to use hand and power tools</li><li>Knowledge of Electrical Code</li><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and layouts</li><li>Flexible, dependable, and customer-focused</li><li>Valid driver’s license</li><li>Must be available after hours to answer repair/service calls as required</li></ul><p>Compensation & Benefits</p><ul><li>Competitive wage based on skills and experience</li><li>Overtime after 40 hours a week</li><li>Company-matched RRSP</li><li>Extended Health, Dental, and Vision Coverage</li><li>Monday–Friday: 7:30am–4:00pm</li></ul><p>This is a full-time permanent position. Hours of work consist of 40 hours/week. Pay is based on experience and ability.
