*The Opportunity*
We are currently looking for an Electroplating Technician to join our production team.
An Electroplating Technician will operate, set up and run electroplating equipment, control electric current and prepare a variety of AC and DC electrical rotating equipment which Involves for coating baths. Prepare parts by cleaning, applying conductive solutions, rinsing and drying, polishing and curing.
*Responsibilities:** Capable of Setting up and running of electroplating equipment.* Perform mechanical measurements using micrometers and calipers to check plating thickness, inspect finished items for defects and compliance. * Performs routine maintenance, lubricate parts, adjust machine setting, and monitor solution levels.* Communicate with engineering, quality inspection and other teams on process improvements and specifications.*Follow strict health, safety and environmental regulations in handling chemicals safely.
Other skills* Electroplating Machine* Hoist /Crane, Forklift and Material handling equipment* Mechanical aptitude for machine set up and adjustments* Washing and Drying Equipment* ABility to work with chemicals and follow proper proceedures.* Basic mathematical capabilities with an understanding of tolerances/sizes. Able to follow written and verbal operating instructions.* Perform related duties as assigned*Qualifications:** 1-2 years' experience in a related industry* Must have mechanical or electrical aptitude
