Hours: 4–6 hours per event, 1–2 events per month

About the Role:
We’re looking for an outgoing, organized, and dependable Event Host to join our team on a casual basis. This role is perfect for someone with hospitality or event experience who enjoys helping people feel welcome and creating smooth, engaging event experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Set up and take down event materials and equipment
- Greet and check in attendees
- Print and prepare materials ahead of each event
- Assist with organizing participants into teams or groups
- Help manage the flow and timing of event activities
- Make announcements and provide updates throughout the event
- Answer participant questions and ensure a welcoming environment
- Coordinate with venue staff and vendors, and help build positive relationships
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in hospitality, event planning, or customer service
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Friendly, approachable, and confident in speaking to groups
- Ability to think on your feet and solve problems as they come up
- Comfortable working evenings and some weekends
- Access to a vehicle is a bonus (for transporting materials)
