We are looking for one or more motivated junior, or intermediate counsel. We can offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, with a flexible billing target. We are open to hiring counsel either as a salaried employee or as a fee for service contract for more experienced counsel.

We primarily practise in Family Law but are open to expanding the scope of the practice and marketing to cater to your specific interests in law. We want to ensure that counsel have the freedom to practise law how they wish, while also providing our clients with the expertise and range of skills and experience needed to quickly assess files, identify strategies and next steps to progress a file towards resolution in a cost effective manner. Minimum requirements: Bachelor of Laws Degree; A practising member, in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia; Must live or be willing to relocate to the Greater Vancouver area; Family law experience 1-4 years.

Preference may be given to candidates with: Experience in family law litigation; Legal Aid BC Account; Experience with legal software; The ability to speak a second language. Additional Skills: The successful candidate will be client an d family focu sed and will demonstrate a commitment to core values such as integrity, compassion and drive. Although a lawyer with litigation experience is preferred, our firm offers an environment with a focus on ADR skills in the fields of mediation and arbitration.
