The Wakaw/Cudworth Primary Health Care Centre is seeking a permanent full‑time family physician. The team—physicians, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses—is available weekdays during the day and offers extended hours Wednesday evenings until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Physicians and nurse practitioners rotate through the extended hours with equal participation. Currently, 4 days per week of practitioner service are provided at the Cudworth Primary Health Centre. Providers also offer care to long‑term‑care residents in Wakaw and Cudworth.
A Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC) operates after clinic hours until midnight, 7 days a week. The CEC team includes advanced care paramedics, primary care paramedics, and off‑site medical physicians to deliver urgent emergency care to the community.
Relocation Package
This opportunity is eligible to receive the Rural Physician Incentive Program of up to $200,000.
Job Qualifications
A regular Saskatchewan medical licence, Canadian residency status, and eligibility for membership on the Saskatchewan Health Authority Practitioner Staff.
Benefits
New family physicians may qualify for a $15,000 return‑for‑service incentive to sign for 3 years.
