Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Accountant/Analyst who is willing to dive into various accounting and analysis responsibilities. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be comfortable with daily and special accounting duties as well as extracting and analyzing financial data. The candidate will also enjoy stepping in and providing support at all levels, including working on special ad-hoc digital transformation projects.
What You’ll Do:
* Manage full cycle accounts receivable functions and prepare related reports for analysis.
* Customer management and ability to resolve collection issues quickly.
* Assist with reconciliations for multiple credit cards and follow up on discrepancies.
* Be familiar with cash management and bank reconciliations.
* Manage employee expense reimbursement.
* Posting Journal entries and accounts reconciliations.
* Amortization of capital assets and intangibles.
* Assisting with inventory counts and cost rollups.
* Perform month-end closing tasks and accruals.
* Provide support for weekly and monthly financial reporting data.
* Using Power BI to create reports on demand for financial data analysis.
* Perform other general accounting duties and special projects as required.
* Provide coverage for other team members when necessary.
What You’ll Bring:
* 1-2 years of full-cycle general accounting experience, preferably from a manufacturing environment and/or multinational organization
* Online banking experience
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or completion of equivalent academic training
* Experience with multi-companies and multi-currencies transactions
* Experience working with large ERP systems such as Business Central preferred
* Strong data management and Excel skills
* Prior experience in utilizing Power BI to generate reports for analysis
* Familiarity with Microsoft software and applications.
* Positive working attitude and willingness to learn
* Strong interpersonal, organization and time management skills
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Strong computer skills and ability to use apps to perform tasks
* Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem solving
* Enjoy working in the office environment and collaborating with colleagues
* Team player and able to initiate corrective action in a positive manner
