Our client is a leader in the healthcare space and one of Canada’s largest community healthcare sector, and is looking to hire a strong, hands-on professional who can hit the ground running, and provide immediate support as a Financial Analyst on a contract for 6 months. The role is hybrid with 3 days in office located in Etobicoke and 2 days work remote from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including high level review of revenue, labour, and overhead
- Complete monthly balance sheet analysis for all accounts on the Consolidated Balance Sheet along with supporting documentation and explanation of variances as required
- Additional Ad Hoc reporting as required
- Annual preparation of Year End Working Papers
- Look at Budget/Forecast process to track performance for variance analysis (budget v. actuals)
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support the finance team as needed
TMGCT
- 3+ years of proven full cycle accounting and financial reporting experience
- Strong accounting skills handling multiple entities
- Proficiency with NetSuite a huge asset
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, etc.)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid work setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and high level of accuracy
