The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities including tax compliance, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), human resources (HR) functions, collections, financial systems management, cross-border sales tax, product license monitoring, monthly reporting, and budget reconciliation.

This role requires a detail-oriented and strategic thinker who can manage multiple responsibilities and contribute to the company’s financial health and growth.

Key Responsibilities:


• Budget Management: Assist with annual budget development and monthly reconciliation to ensure alignment with financial goals and identify variances

• Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.

• Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts.


• Accounts Payable (AP): Oversee vendor payments, expense reports, and ensure timely payment of all invoices.

• Human Resources (HR): Handle payroll processing, employee benefits administration, and HR compliance.

• Collections: Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize outstanding receivables.


• Financial Systems Management: Maintain and improve financial systems and processes to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting.

• Cross-Border Sales Tax: Manage and ensure compliance with cross-border sales tax regulations.

• Product License Monitoring: Oversee the monitoring and management of product licenses to ensure compliance and timely renewals.


• Monthly Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial reports to the management team.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CPA or CMA certification preferred.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.

• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and Business modeling.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
