We are searching for a high energy, enthusiastic professional to join our Finance team as a FP&A Analyst. This position will appeal to an independent, analytical problem solver who is tech savvy with ERP systems, Excel and BI tools (Power BI & Workday Adaptive both assets). This individual either holds or is in progress of completing a professional designation (CPA or CFA) and a holds a degree in Business or Commerce (or equivalent). This role is responsible for providing financial analysis support, guidance and ongoing analytical support and insights via financial reporting and analysis to various stakeholders.

This role will own and lead the organization’s annual budget development and execution process and make process improvement recommendations which may involve standardization of processes across various functional areas and teams as it relates to data / reporting processes. Responsibilities: Own the Corporate financial model used for all forecasts in our business Prepare and maintain accuracy, accountability and effectiveness of reports Manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools Provide data analysis and proactive recommendations to team, to drive profitable business decisions and maximize top and bottom-line growth Partner with departments to develop rolling financial forecasts and performance models based on business inputs and key performance indicators Coordinates with managers to develop research and analysis initiatives specific to their needs Develops and implements techniques and systems to be integrated into the business planning process to assess and manage risk Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs, pricing, new launches as well as new projects Assists with the coordination data management for pricing strategies and compliance filings Assist with preparation of pricing tools / dashboards to support decision-making for senior management Coordinate with Sales and Marketing departments to apply for price changes, limited time offers and promotional activities (where applicable) Assist with administration of product listings/applications with various liquor regulators and maintain detailed records of listings applied for and achieved Other related duties and special projects as assigned Qualifications: 3 years of progressive experience working in a financial reporting / data analysis function Knowledge of / experience in consumer-packaged goods businesses and/or industries is considered an asset; Financial Modelling – experience creating and managing complex financial models Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, solve problems, make recommendations and draw valid conclusions in accurate manner Keen analytical mind, able to take complex problems and situations and present a written and verbal solution in an easy to understand manner Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset; Strong attention to detail and proven ability to prioritize and multi-task; Ability to work in collaboration with multiple departments; University Degree (Commerce, Economics, Finance, Accounting); Designation such as CPA, or pursuit of designation in progress will be considered an asset; and Utilization of SAP Business One, Workday Adaptive & Power BI are integral to the success of this role.
