Full-Time Food Services Assistant

Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for a full-time Food Services Assistant at Innisfail High School (Grades 9-12), effective September 23, 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the servery area and ensuring compliance with Alberta Health Standards and practices. They will run a lunch program each school day, oversee and direct students in safety and hygiene procedures, while guiding them in food preparation, service, and clean-up.

Additionally, they are responsible for purchasing and budgeting the program. The successful candidate must have good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, be able to meet timelines, and maintain a safe and healthy environment. Preference will be given to individuals who have their food handling certificate and related experience.
