About the Role: Position: Cinematic/Moments Producer Location: Vancouver, BC Summary: The Asendion is looking for a Producer to join our Story team to help us tell best in class, authentic and exciting stories within our game. You will be responsible for managing a multi-discipline team consisting of artists and designers who will be creating and implementing real-time cinematic moments. Your team will partner closely with our Story director and Campaign director and will bring gameplay and storytelling together in a seamless experience.

You will be responsible for managing the backlog of work, ensuring that this is continually prioritized to ensure we’re delivering the most impact with the time and resources available. You will also be responsible for managing dependencies across multiple disciplines and coordinating schedules across teams in order to drive features to completion. You will need to understand and communicate status, proactively resolve risks and dependencies, and drive features to completion at a high quality.

You will also set milestone and sprint goals and hold your team accountable to delivering against these. As part of the Production team, you will be expected to help create and foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high performing work environment. Roles and Responsibilities: Milestone planning, execution, dependency management, and evaluation of priorities Communicating goals to the team and motivating them to execute on time and at a high-quality level Proactive risk management and mitigation Ability to work effectively across disciplines to plan for, and manage dependencies Creating, updating, and presenting status and information to the project leadership team Identifying task-related processes to improve efficiency Providing regular capacity plan updates Focusing on project development with an emphasis on team empowerment Qualifications: You are customer obsessed and have a desire to provide the best experience to our content creators and our players You have experience working with narrative/mission/animation teams You are comfortable working in modern project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban, etc) You are excited to work closely with designers, engineers, and content creators with a focus on empowering the team to problem-solve You have managed one or more game cross functional teams through two or more game phases (Pre-Production, Production, Finaling) You have experience shipping AAA quality games.
