Title : General Manager Your new role: Hays Specialist Recruitment has teamed up with a Non-Profit organization in Calgary, AB. This client is seeking a General Manager to join their team for a contract to start with the intention of converting to a permanent role. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday Your responsibilities: Managing day-to-day operations of a recreational site, ensuring all programs and facilities are running efficiently and effectively.

Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue through programs, off-season rentals, private bookings, outdoor education, and special events. Prepare and manage the budget Manage a diverse team of up to 60 staff, including department leads Qualification: At least 5 years of management experience with a strong focus on revenue generation and operational efficiency. Ability to develop and manage budgets, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding financial targets.

Strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Non-Profit Management, Recreation Administration, or a related field. What’s in it for you: This is a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic team in one of Alberta’s most beautiful settings.
