ROBINSON is now at an exciting point in its history as it looks to aggressively grow its Electrical division. As a result, the company has created the new position of General Manager, Electrical Division with a mandate to lead the strategic and operational growth of ROBINSON Electrical, as it looks to expand into new markets.

Reporting to the President & CEO and overseeing a growing team of 40, the GM will have a mandate to support the transition of the Electrical business to a standalone P&L while developing and executing on a strategy to grow market share and expand the business into new markets. This includes identifying the appropriate markets for expansion, ensuring the team has the capabilities and the structure to drive growth, and developing the right commercial (pricing, product, marketing) model, as well as strategic and operational plans to fuel growth.

The ideal candidate is a highly entrepreneurial and growth-focused wholesale distribution executive with a proven track record leading teams, managing a P&L, and leading growth. They will be an inspirational team leader and an exceptional communicator capable of leading change and engaging a diverse team around a common vision and strategy for the business. As a key member of the executive team, they will bring a humble, highly collaborative approach who blends an entrepreneurial mindset with strong integrity and focus on doing what is best for the business.
