Job Description
The Head of Corporate Partnerships, is a key revenue generating role responsible for securing corporate partnerships. Reporting to the VP, Business Development, this role leads the development and execution of sponsorship sales initiatives.
Our ideal candidate is a sales professional who understands the value of our client’s brand and the unique appeal of their player base. Someone who can develop and sell compelling “win-win” partnership opportunities. You are proactive and results-oriented with a track record of generating $200k+ annual partnership sales. You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and are excited to build.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate and local partnerships by selling league activation opportunities, experiential assets and media across the company.
- Execute a consistent, high-volume outbound sales strategy including cold outreach, networking, industry event participation, and targeted prospecting to secure meetings with senior decision-makers.
- Lead the full sponsorship sales process from initial outreach through deal negotiation and closing.
- Conduct discovery meetings with prospective partners to uncover brand objectives, priorities, and business challenges, positioning the company as a strategic marketing solution.
- Work closely with the VP Marketing to develop and align on assets package and overall value offered in proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver customized partnership proposals and pitch presentations that connect prospective partner brand goals with the company.
- Integrate consumer insights, category trends, and data-driven storytelling into sales presentations to create innovative, value-based solutions for partners.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools (Pipedrive) and provide regular updates on revenue progress vs. target and prospect status.
- Brief internal teams on activation requirements.
- Manage all partner relationships and provide post-program reporting.
Requirements
- 3+ years sponsorship sales or related sales experience (sports, agencies, lifestyle industries are a bonus).
- Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling abilities; polished in front of clients and large groups.
- Excellent negotiation and deal-structuring skills with a consultative, solution-based selling approach.
- Data driven with the ability to frame opportunities as results drivers for prospective partners.
- Resilient, persistent, and goal oriented.
- Able to take action in the face of ambiguity or partial information.
- Fun loving team player.
Expected Hours:
- You will be working 40 hours per week.
- This is a hybrid work model. If you are working in the GTA, expect to be in the office 2 – 3 days a week.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Complimentary league play (opportunity to participate in any company league or program at no cost).
- Range in base pay pending experience plus commission to be reviewed in final round interviews.
