Job Summary

25.9 hours per week. Please note due to part‑time hours this post is not eligible for sponsorship.
Please be advised that, effective 1 April 2026, the full‑time working hours for all Agenda for Change posts will be reduced to 36 hours.
Please note the salary is pro‑rata for part‑time hours.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Health Care Support Worker to join our busy Endoscopy Unit at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The Endoscopy Unit provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic, therapeutic, and acute upper and lower endoscopic procedures for both in‑patients and out‑patients. We work closely with the specialties of Gastroenterology, Colorectal Surgery, and Upper GI Surgery to deliver safe, effective, and person‑centred care.
Responsibilities
As part of our skilled and dedicated multidisciplinary team, the post holder will contribute to the delivery of high‑quality, compassionate care, supporting patients throughout their endoscopic journey. You will also play a key role in maintaining high clinical standards through participation in audit, risk management, and evidence‑based practice.
Qualifications
Experience within Gastroenterology, Surgery and/or Endoscopy is desirable for this role.
