About The Role
We’re searching for an HR Systems & Reporting Specialist to elevate our HR technology, reporting and analytics capabilities. In this role, you’ll build and enhance dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable intelligence to business partners and senior leaders. You’ll also be our go‑to expert for Ceridian (HRIS), optimizing modules like onboarding, recruitment, performance, analytics, and position management through smart configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
About Your Day
- Manage all mandatory government and agency reporting, including Workforce Data Submissions, Public Sector Salary Disclosure, and Statistics Canada reporting.
- Prepare HR compliance and month-end Finance and HR reports, maintaining dashboards and scorecards.
- Produce quarterly and ad-hoc SLT and HRCC (Board) scorecards, summarizing workforce data and insights.
- Develop and deliver standard and ad-hoc HR metrics and analytics reports to support business and people leaders.
- Create and customize HRIS reports using analytics tools and serve as the HRIS subject matter expert, ensuring system maintenance, optimization, and issue resolution.
- Partner with Finance and IT to conduct payroll, security, role access, and data audits, addressing findings as needed.
- Maintain position management, job creation, and data integrity to support accurate system integrations and external reporting.
- Lead ongoing HRIS enhancements, including requirements analysis, configuration, testing, implementation of new modules and features, UAT, vendor support coordination, and Change Advisory Board updates.
- Support employee lifecycle data activities and act as back‑up to the Payroll & HRIS Specialist for data entry and imports.
About You
- Post-Secondary education preferably in human resources
- 3+ years of HRIS Specialist function, with demonstrated experience completing HR reporting and analysis.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams and an expert with advanced Microsoft Excel functions and data manipulation techniques, including but not limited to, v-lookups, pivot tables, arrays, formulas, and macros.
- Experienced at extracting data, developing complex reports, narrative storytelling, and providing detailed visual analysis.
- Able to work independently while appreciating the value of working as part a team and collaborating with others across multiple departments.

- Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Required Travel: Rare, usually within the GTA
Compensation
The target hiring range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000. This is a pay grade 6 role, with a salary range of $71,777.30 - $107,379.81. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
