The Human Resources Business Partner will play a pivotal part in our Alberta growth strategy, helping to shape and enhance the care experience for our residents and supporting our dedicated teams on the ground.

If you are ready to be part of a transformative period in senior living, join Sienna in making a meaningful difference across Alberta As a key member of the Sienna Human Resource team, the Human Resources Business Partner will play a key role in supporting our Alberta expansion by delivering HR guidance and solutions tailored to our senior living homes. What you will be doing: Reporting to the Director, HR Business Partners, the successful candidate will be required to visit communities on a weekly basis with the flexibility to work from home two (2) days a week: Partner with the business to provide excellent HR support on recruitment, retention, team member relations, policy interpretation, employment laws, and Health and Safety practices. Support leaders with performance management and compensation, including planning and offering guidance on feedback.

Work with leaders to offer daily guidance on performance, including coaching, managing performance issues, delivering feedback, and championing career development. Provide strategic support by developing a talent management plan that enhances engagement, succession planning, and team member development. Communicate effectively to support change management, helping leaders and team members understand and navigate organizational changes.

What you need to know: At least 7 years of HR consulting experience; HR designation preferred. Proven ability to partner with senior leaders to develop and implement people strategies that drive business results. Strong relationship management skills across all levels.

Experience in resolving complex HR issues. Knowledge of Canadian employment law and practices, with the ability to proactively apply this in client consultations. Skilled in consulting on policies, processes, and identifying trends and solutions.

Ability to anticipate and drive necessary changes alongside business leaders. Demonstrates sound judgment, discretion, and initiative with confidential matters. Successful completion of a Criminal Check is required.
