Human Resources Manager – Manufacturing

Location: Woodbridge, ON (100% In-Office)
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Benefits: $2,500 Health Spending Account
Vacation: 3 Weeks


About the Role

Fuze HR Solutions is partnering with a rapidly growing manufacturing company in the Woodbridge area to recruit an experienced Human Resources Manager.


This is a standalone HR leadership role with full ownership of the function. You will lead, build, and scale HR systems while acting as a trusted business partner to leadership and employees.


This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to make a real impact.

If you are looking for a narrow, purely administrative HR role, this is not the opportunity for you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all HR functions, including payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations
  • Develop and implement HR policies, systems, and best practices
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational development
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
  • Oversee performance management and disciplinary processes
  • Ensure compliance with Ontario employment legislation
  • Lead training, development, and succession planning initiatives
  • Manage employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts
  • Plan and coordinate employee recognition and engagement programs

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • 5–7+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner
  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation
  • Experience managing HR as a standalone function
  • Hands-on experience with payroll and benefits administration

Preferred:

  • CHRP/CHRL designation (or working toward)
  • Experience in high-growth organizations
  • HR systems and process implementation experience
