We are looking for a talented Implementation Lead in Toronto. This person will be responsible for the coordinated implementation of the InEight project controls platform and related project support systems across the business unit. This role ensures cross-functional collaboration,

adherence to strategic goals, and optimal use of resources during platform implementation. The Implementation Lead will be the principal liaison with Global Project Excellence (GPE) team who will also facilitate alignment, governance, and seamless transition to a global contract while managing interim contractual responsibilities. The role ensures program accountability, reports on progress, and promotes consistent and effective adoption across departments.


Responsibilities include:


Strategic & Operational Implementation Leadership

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of the InEight project controls platform within the BU.
  • Ensure BU alignment with the global implementation approach and methodology in alignment with global standards and best practices.
  • Establish and monitor clear milestones, KPIs, and risk indicators to ensure schedule, scope, and quality targets are met.
  • Oversee integration of modules and alignment of functional configuration with project delivery processes.
  • Lead other project services system implementation as may be required.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between BU stakeholders, the GPE team, clients and vendor representatives.
  • Manage implementation-related change activities, assessing impact and developing action plans to ensure business readiness.
  • Facilitate lessons-learned workshops post-implementation and embed improvements.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders, fostering trust and transparency.

Contractual & Commercial Oversight

  • Manage interim contracts and assist/support transition to global commercial agreements for the platform.
  • Liaise with procurement, legal, and finance teams to ensure compliance, alignment with commercial terms and implementation outcomes.

System Support & Process Optimization

  • Drive continuous improvement in implementation tools, techniques, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal Solution Experts, Subject Matter Experts and Process Area Stakeholders to ensure systems reflect project controls needs.
  • Provide support and guidance to project teams on implementation matters, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring process adherence.
  • Manage all system enhancement and feature requests from the BU

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress, issues, and resolutions throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Provide strategic reports and insights to executive management to enable proactive decision-making.


Experience required:

  • 10+ years' experience in project controls, systems implementation, or digital transformation in mining/EPCM
  • Degree in Project Management, or Project Controls field, or Engineering
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Qualification in Data Management or Systems Management
  • 7+ years' experience managing all aspects of enterprise platform implementation (InEight preferred)
  • 7+ years' experience in contract and stakeholder management
