VictorEric Design Group is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate Interior Designer to join our team in Vancouver, BC as an Intermediate Interior Designer. You will play a crucial role in developing building designs for various projects, taking them from the concept stage to construction-ready sets of drawings. About the Opportunity We are looking for a motivated candidate with outstanding coaching and mentorship skills, a creative eye for detail, client management, presentation skills, and the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

You don’t need any leadership experience for the Intermediate position. You will also be joining us with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, a true passion for design, architecture, and construction, and high standards in delivering projects with outstanding levels of service and results. Most importantly, your dedication to the work that you do, as well as your creativity and determination to improve and make things better, will help foster a positive working environment for the greater team that is working alongside you.

Key Responsibilities Determining design objectives based on client’s requirements Conceptualizing and sketching design concepts with meticulous attention to detail Collaborating with the VictorEric internal team in determining cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase Setting a timeline for the completion of an interior design project, in line with client’s realistic set deadlines Sourcing materials and products as specified in the drawings Preparing construction drawings with AutoCAD and/or Revit Utilizing software applications in the design process Inspecting design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met Coaching and leading the junior members of our teams to effectively deliver design tasks About You To qualify, you will need at least 3-5 years experience in the local custom design field, along with: A post-secondary diploma or equivalent in Interior Design or related studies Strong skills in AutoCAD or Revit, to create interior design working drawings A portfolio of design work, preferably in the custom home design industry A strong background in design, architecture, bylaws, and construction of single-family, wood-frame construction in BC Proficiency in Microsoft Office About the Benefits In return for your hard work and dedication, you will be awarded a highly competitive annual salary of $60-65K, evaluated on knowledge, skills, and experience , along with benefits including: Company Bonus Program Extended health, dental, vision, and prescription coverage Life, dependent, and disability insurance An opportunity to make the role your own in a small and collaborative team And many more About VictorEric Design Group Ltd.
