Position Summary:

The International Logistics Coordinator supports global supply chain operations by coordinating international shipments, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations. This position requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to maintain efficient and reliable logistics processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        Coordinate and manage international shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

·        Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to track shipments and resolve delays.

·        Prepare and review shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.

·        Monitor import/export compliance and ensure adherence to international trade regulations.

·        Liaise with internal departments (sales, purchasing, operations) to ensure smooth logistics operations.

·        Maintain accurate records of shipments, rates, and vendor communications.

·        Identify opportunities to optimize shipping routes, costs, and timelines.

·        Assist with troubleshooting issues as required.

 

This job may require additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by SGF

 

Qualification:

·        Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, International Business, or a related field.

·        2+ years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination.

·        Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, Incoterms, and customs documentation.

·        Excellent communication and organizational skills.

·        Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management systems.

·        Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.

 

Working Conditions:

·        Full-time position, based at the office.

·        Standard office hours, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
