Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist
Location: Southeast Calgary, AB
Shift: Night Shift 12am-8:30am
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to move, locate, and stack products within our warehouse. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe handling of materials, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Must be available for overtime
- Will be doing inventory on the floor. Must understand the basic process. Having inventory experience is a must
- Will manually have to move product around to count. Use paper and computers to help with the counting.
- Machine operation minimal and counting/inventory will be the majority of the day.
- Will have to manually move pallets as well which can be 50lb.
- The product is all produce. Attention to detail is extremely important as every error costs between 800-1000 dollars.
Experience
- Previous experience operating sitdown forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of mechanical operations related to forklifts and material handling equipment is beneficial.
- Experience with order picking processes and techniques will be advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
