IT Program Manager (AI / Enterprise Risk)



Drive high-impact Agile initiatives in the insurance industry through this Ontario-based hybrid role. Lead complex tech projects across Legal, Compliance, and Audit functions, leveraging tools like JIRA and Agile frameworks. Ideal for seasoned professionals with PMP certification and experience in emerging tech such as GenAI.



What is in it for you:




• Salaried: $70-74 per hour.


• Incorporated Business Rate: $84-88 per hour.


• 11-month contract.


• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.


• Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.


• In-office presence required from Tuesday to Thursday.


• Remote work available on Mondays and Fridays.



Responsibilities:




• Develop, track, and manage project budgets, plans, timelines, and scope.


• Manage project resources including staff procurement, coaching, and development.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver business requirements.


• Lead development teams in delivering high-quality software aligned to business needs.


• Define test plans and ensure defect-free products ahead of User Acceptance Testing.


• Oversee the User Acceptance Testing process and rollout procedures


• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and present to stakeholders.


• Ensure adherence to systems development and project management standards.


• Present updates and progress to project sponsors or steering committees.



What you will need to succeed:




• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.


• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) considered assets.


• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.


• 10+ years of experience in IT project management, including complex and cross-functional initiatives.


• Proven experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.


• Strong understanding of data privacy, data quality, and collaboration with technical experts.


• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage timelines, and deliver on business objectives.


• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a high attention to detail.


• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing demands.
