We are continuing to expand across Alberta and are looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role will specialize in service calls, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar energy systems.
What You’ll Do
Conduct service calls to diagnose and repair electrical issues related to solar PV systems
Troubleshoot electrical components including wiring, inverters, modules, and monitoring systems
Ensure all electrical work meets applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements
Perform preventative maintenance and full system inspections
Work directly with customers to explain system issues and recommend solutions
Collaborate with project managers, installers, and support teams to resolve service needs efficiently
Complete detailed work orders, reports, and service records
What We’re Looking For
Journeyman Electrician certification (Red Seal preferred)
Experience in residential or commercial electrical work; solar experience considered an asset
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Comfortable working independently in the field, with a high level of attention to detail
Professional communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
