Journeyman Plumber & Gasfitter

Max heating is a fast growing heating and plumbing company that is based in Edmonton, Alberta serving both residential and commercial clients. We are currently accepting full-time applications for lead technicians for a plumbing department. For this particular role, we are looking for someone who is competent, reliable and has 3 to 10 years of experience with plumbing, preferably with background in service in the residential setting.

A successful Canada will: – Have a positive can do attitude – 3 plus years in the plumbing trade – Be dedicated to exceptional customer service – Have a class 5 non GDL driver’s license with five or more years of driving experience. – Have a driver’s abstract and be able to pass a criminal background check – Physical capabilities of carrying 50 lb up and down flights of stairs – Excellent verbal and written communications – Is able to work on a rotation for on-call In this roll you’ll be responsible for: – Retrofitting residential and commercial plumbing systems – Driving one of our vans to the customer homes or business – Speaking with customers about what is expected during their service – Follow Max Heating training and protocol. – Keeping your branded Max van ready for work – Supply your own plumbing tools beyond the regular consumable items What Max Heating will provide for you. – Company sponsored apprenticeships (were applicable) – Health benefits after 90 days – competitive wages in a challenging fast-paced environment – The opportunity to learn in a broad base of knowledge in both commercial and residential services and installation – Full-Time hours with the majority of work happening in and around Edmonton – The oportunities for overtime
