Junior Supply Chain Analyst

One of our clients, a major North American oil and gas company, has tasked us with finding a detail-oriented Junior Supply Chain Analyst to join their Supply Service Center team. This is a 1-year contract role with hybrid work requirements (3 days/week onsite).

Opportunity Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting procurement operations across three critical areas:

1. Dispatch Coordination – Validating and routing purchase requisitions
2. Internal Customer Support – Resolving stakeholder inquiries
3. Supplier Portal Management – Facilitating vendor communications

This position offers exceptional visibility into enterprise procurement processes and systems while working alongside a geographically dispersed team.

Core Responsibilities

Process and prioritize incoming purchase requisitions for accuracy and urgency

Serve as first point of contact for internal procurement inquiries

Support suppliers using the company’s digital procurement portal

Collaborate with buyers across multiple Canadian and US locations

Maintain documentation and provide reporting as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile

Must Have:

• Degree/diploma in Business, Supply Chain or related discipline
• 1-3 years in procurement, vendor management or related function
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis)
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle Cloud or ServiceNow platforms
• Oil & gas or energy sector experience
• Familiarity with procure-to-pay processes
